Moomba's are creatures from the game Final Fantasy VIII. They originate at the side quest village called Shumi. Shumi Village is underground in the north, and the Shumi's live there peacefully. Shumi's go through stages of evolution throughout thier life time, and the Moomba is a the stage which a Shumi could evolve into the next leader, but instead doesn't become the leader, and will become a new Moomba. Moombas are loyal and sweet servants to the other Shumi. They are not really ignorant, but they can not speak understandable language. Instead they make small, cute squeek and purring noises. Laguna, a warrior and protagonist, tries to teach the Moombas human language, but nothing is said if they learn more then his name, which they say many times in the game.

I decided to finish the vector of the Moomba eye from my Deviant ID and it is one of my favorite vectors I have done so far. I really like how it came out with a somewhat painting like style to it, and that of course, it is a vector of one of my favorite things. ^__^ Over all, I think this turned out to be another one of my best vectors yet.

Thanks. I don't use PSP, so I'm not sure what you are talking about, but I'm sure it probably has a vector tool like Photoshop. I use Illustrator, which is a totally vector based program. Thre are also others like Flash, and Fireworks. What that means is that these programs, instead of using pixels like raster programs (PSP and Photoshop) they use solid hardedge vector shapes. These shapes can the be resized indefinately until they are rasterized in some way... ie: importing into Photoshop or another raster program, or saving them as a raster flie such as, jpeg, gif, tiff, png, tga... etc... I'm not sure that entirely explains it to you though, but as many times as I have been asked, I'm still terrible at explaining it. ^__^;;;

aww thanks ! i understand what you are talking about. i want to get open canvas sometime, illustrator and painter... i have a long list, i know. i do have photoshop and psp7 and 8 though, and those are pixel- based imaging programs i knew. have you ever used psp or know if it is easier to do vector art than pixel art?

I barely used PSP... so I don't really know it. I find Vector art easier than pixel art, but that's cause I know how to do it well. Pixel people might say the opposite! I think pixel art is really hard though, personally, I admire those with that kinda patience! xD
Wait a sec.... are talking literally pixel art, or just raster art?
